is that all digital manipulation or very good dark room manipulation with the dolphins as i am not sure how the cracking in the images is obviously a clear sign of dark room manipulation. i really enjoyed lookign through, why is this factor of photography so important to you, what is your inspiration, who is your inspiration?

Beaucoup de poésie dans ces "captures" de noirs et blancs. L'absence d'êtres vivants dans la plupart des clichés (excepté la série des Gens ou des animaux), aurait pu rendre les photographies statiques, mais non, à l'image de cette silhouette sur le fil, vous trouvez un équilibre, un mouvement bien à vous, fait de lumières, d'ombres...C'est superbe. J'espère qu'on pourra retrouver votre travail dans quelques ouvrages. Sincères salutations. Carla. France.

Hi Denis, Just to say very impressive, great work, I am photographer too and use Nikon digital as well as hasselblad film cameras. I like producing work at any time of the day but particularly in low light. I have been a huge fan of Michael Kenna for many years as i am sure you have too. You use Canon Digital and Hasselblad cameras, I would like to know if you use digital or film for long exposures in low light or still use film. You seem to have embraced digital as it gives you more control over your work and less chemicals. Best regards Gary

on a envie de les voir autrement, sur d'autres supports, dans d'autres formats, avec d'autres ou tout seul, dans le silence ou dans le bruit, immobile ou dans un train qui file...
bref, un vrai regard et un imaginaire d'une grande profondeur.
mais pourquoi ce site tout en anglais ? un effet de mode qui ne va pas avec vos images...
